How should I handle a surprise booking?

If a booking is made for another location please insure that someone in the household is notified that a yard greeting will be delivered, set up, and taken down within the specified time frame. We want to create a happy surprise and not surprise someone in a bad way!

What should I do prior to my yard card getting set-up?

  • Water your yard.

  • Turn off sprinkler system.

  • Do not cut or mow the yard while the yard card is in the yard. 

  • Leave the the porch light on or some type of light so we can see how to decorate.

How long is the yard card rental service?

Our yard card service is for 24 hours. However, for an additional fee, you may keep the rental for more than 24 hours.  It is usually set up the evening before the event between 6-10 pm and removed the evening of the event at 8 pm. If you are having an evening party and need the yard sign to stay longer, please let us know. We can also deliver during the day when the person is at work or school. We will do our very best to accommodate you!

What is your refund/cancellation policy?

We understand that plans change. If you decide you do not want a custom yard greeting for your event, please let us know as soon as possible. Unfortunately any orders cancelled within 48 hours of your event or non-refundable. Orders cancelled 48 hours in advanced will be refunded. If inclement weather proves to be hazardous, we may not be able to set up  your sign. A full refund will be given.  We will not give refunds under the following circumstances:​

  •  Circumstances out of our control such as denied access to a gated community, given the wrong address, animals or people preventing us from sign placement or the recipient asking us to remove the greeting.

What is your rental policy?

  • Payment is due when you book your services to hold your reservations. 

  • Please do not remove signs from your lawns. If you need your sign removed or taken down early for any reason, please contact us and we will take care of it. If you have landscapers coming, please arrange for them to come before we set up or the day after your event. You are responsible for any damage landscapers do to our signs.

  • Safety is our top priority. We do not recommend playing around the greeting sign.

  • Deluxe Yard Décor is not responsible or liable for any personal injury or property damage that may occur by the placement of our signs.
